TASTING NOTES
A dry red
wine made of the autoctonous Bulgarian grape variety Mavrud.
Deep ruby-garnet
colour with purple shades; intensive and brilliant. Elegant and exteriorized
aromas of ripe fruits (figs, blackberry), cinnamon, oak, herbs and exotic
spices. Powerful and tasty wine with lingering sensation of coffee and
chocolate. The palate is meaty, delicately astringent and harmonious, balanced.
The wine has been ageing for 12 months in small Bulgarian oak barriques.
Great
potential for bottle ageing.
Best before: 2013.
Food match: red meat and game;
cured cheeses.
Alcohol content: 13,0% by volume.
